History

Since our founding, Matsui Kozai has expanded its business with the sale of stainless steel materials as its original trade.
Adapting to the needs of the times, we have expanded into processing, distribution, and exterior businesses, and as a member of the Matsui Group, we have built up trust and a proven track record rooted in the community.

July 1934	Founded by Yoshio Matsui as a privately managed enterprise
Feb. 1952	Incorporated as a stock company. Yoshio Matsui assumes office as Representative Director
July 1961	Opened Shiga Sales Office
Nov. 1967	Koji Matsui assumes office as Representative Director; Kazumi Matsui assumes office as Senior Managing Director
March 1976	Constructed a new head office building at 2-5 Kujo Minami, Nishi-ku, Osaka
Sept. 1983	Opened Shodoshima Factory
Sept. 1987	Rep. Director Koji Matsui becomes Chairman; Senior Managing Director Kazumi Matsui becomes Rep. Director
